Next in our Meet the Therapists series is Sairah Abbasi.
Sairah has experience working with clients experiencing Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, BPD, Bipolar Disorder, family/relationship conflict, childhood trauma, and reduced self-worth. She uses an individualized approach to fit each client’s needs, drawing from therapeutic treatments such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, EFT, Strength-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
Sairah works with adolescents, adults, and couples, and currently has openings for weekday and nighttime appointments.
Sairah’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University with a concentration in Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies. Her experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and individuals who have caused harm, including experience supporting clients within a shelter setting and a community mental health center.
In her downtime, Sairah loves relaxing with a cup of coffee and a book of poetry. Some of her favorites include Rupi Kaur, Yung Pueblo, Madisen Kuhn, and r.h. Sin.
