Our Mission

I’ve worked as a therapist since 2011 and have been exposed to what good therapy looks like as well as what bad therapy looks like too (same with coaching). It’s always been my mission to provide high-quality therapy and coaching services that clients actually get something out of – they walk away from each session feeling truly seen and knowing exactly what to do next to feel better and overcome current challenges. I’ve worked in private practice since 2014, and in 2021 started my own group practice, so I could translate the high-touch, high-quality model that’s worked so well for my clients and me to even more therapists/coaches and to more clients. We need more highly-skilled therapists and coaches in this industry that know how to deliver on high-quality support and help their clients create real results, and we’re here to do just that.

Our primary purpose is to help clients feel genuinely supported and guided as they navigate life’s difficulties. And to do therapy differently, as a fully TeleHealth practice.. Also to make sure clients have a great experience in working with us – I’ve heard so many horror stories of therapists/coaches not being present during sessions, telling clients how to live their life, “yessing” everything their clients said, passing judgment on their clients, making things about the therapist/coach, not knowing how to effectively meet clients where they’re at, lacking the training to provide the service, etc. Therapy/coaching should NEVER involve any of those things, and our practice is here to do therapy/coaching in high-quality ways that fully support our clients, while helping them make real, lasting changes.

Lisa Eaton Therapy and Coaching provides therapy and coaching services in the state of California, including: Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Gatos, and Palo Alto. Because we are a fully TeleHealth practice, we also happily serve all cities in California.
