Seeking support for your current difficulties or past experiences takes courage and strength.

Therapy is an excellent way to process life’s hardships through establishing personalized tools for change and empowerment of the self. My goal is to support you within your healing journey through a safe, comfortable, and open space to explore such hardships. I use a collaborative approach to establish goals for change and personal growth. Whether that may be improving your self-worth, managing stress, regulating difficult emotions, improving your relationships, reaching greater self-acceptance, creating a different “normal” or finding respite, this is your space. From building self-esteem, to navigating socio-cultural or generational dynamics to healing around women’s health conditions such as miscarriages and endometriosis, I am here to provide my support through a person-centered approach to always put you first.

My Practice

As a therapist, I have experience working with clients experiencing Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, BPD, Bipolar Disorder, family/relationship conflict, childhood trauma, and reduced self-worth. I use an individualized approach to fit each client’s needs, drawing from therapeutic treatments such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, Strength-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help you manage the ongoing symptoms and your mental health needs in a collaborative way.

At times, it can be difficult to put ourselves first. However, there is always time to start! I work with clients from adolescence through adulthood, and couples. Especially clients who are asking questions like “How do I find myself, why does life feel so hard, and why do people in my life not like me?” I also work exclusively using TeleHealth (video sessions). This is a great option for clients with busy work schedules, parenting demands, time constraints, health conditions, and travel expenses.

My Background

My educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University with a concentration in Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies. The experience I have includes working with survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and individuals who have caused harm, including experience supporting clients within a shelter setting and a community mental health center. Furthermore, I have experience working with South Asians and Muslim clients and minorities.

A fun fact about me is that I truly admire poetry! Some of my favorite poets include Rupi Kaur, Yung Pueblo, Madisen Kuhn and r.h. Sin. When I’m not at work, you can generally find me with a warm cup of coffee reading one of their poems.
